History

The Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute was founded in 1945 by the Mennonite High School Society and dedicated to the task of providing Christian, Mennonite education at the secondary level. In 1964, the Manitoba Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches acquired the facilities and began operating the school. Over the years the school has expanded its traditional base in the Mennonite Brethren community to include students and staff from a wide range of Christian traditions.
